Case 5575 Item Description:Case's reputation for creating exceptional knives continues to be upheld with this Antique barn board colored small Gunstock knife, model number 5575, and pattern number 6215SS.
These specially jigged knives feature this uniquely designed bone handle that is machined during the production process so that it resembles antique barn boards – the wood taken from old barns. Case use a naked flame to create the Amber glow and then add the Case traditions shield before pinning it to the frame. The bone has been taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle, mainly because this bone is very dense, and is more reliable for a handle material.
This small Gunstock knife would not be complete without Case's Nickel Silver polished bolsters attached to either end. They really do a great job of finishing off a knife, adding style and class to every knife they touch.
With this knife you get a Spear blade and a Pen blade. They have been made using Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel. The benefits of this steel are too good to miss. A razor sharp edge can be achieved. Then that razor sharp edge is easily retained, and finally the steel does a great job of fending off rust and corrosion. A fingernail groove cut into the blade makes it easier to pull the blade out when you need to get some work done.
One cool knife, modern in design with the classic rustic charms of Antique barn boards. This knife measures 2 7/8 inches overall and weighs a nice and light 1.8oz. Grab yours.
