The knife has a stainless steel Clip blade and Spey blade, both of which have been made using Tru-Sharp surgical stainless steel that gives a razor sharp cut, great edge retention, and the ability to fend off rust and corrosion for long periods of time.
The blades have commemorative imagery upon them. The main Clip blade has THE CIVIL WAY 1861 – 1865 while the Spey blade says CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA. Both of these blades have fingernail grooves cut into them. You can pull on these grooves to help you when opening the blades out.
The handle is Red jigged pick bone pinned with Brass pins and then given an oval Case inlay shield. The shield and the two end bolsters are all made using polished Nickel Silver. The effect is very striking as it provides a great contrast.
Coming complete with a lined hardshell gift box, the inner lid is given the Case company name printed upon it. The CA1861RPB will make a great gift for those who are proud of what it stands for.
