Al Mar item description:

From Al Mar knives comes this, the Al Mar Eagle classic knife with Black Micarta handle. One of the largest knives that Al Mar make, this will provide all you need and more. With an overall length of 9 inches, the Eagle comes in two distinct blade configurations. This one is the “classic” range and has a full-faced flat ground blade.

Using AUS 8 stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 57-59 RC, the 4 inch blade is razor sharp and has a fingernail groove cut into it to aid with the opening and opening. The blades thickness is .10 inches.

The handle is Black smooth Micarta and feels nicely balanced in the hand. A lanyard hole at the rear ensures that you have somewhere to store it when not in use. Next to the Micarta handle is a brushed stainless steel bolster which provides a nice stark contrast.

At 4oz in weight this is one of the largest knives Al Mar make. The Al Mar front lock ensures it stays locked in the open position during use. If you haven't tried an Al Mar knife then be prepared to be impressed. The quality of workmanship and hand finishing and hand sharpening ensure these remain in the hearts of knife collectors all over the world. The 1005BM Eagle classic from Al Mar.
