Throwback Thursday to the knife that changed it all. This is the Buck 110. Until this knife was invented in 1963 people used fixed blade knives or folding knives that weren’t worth a flip at locking up. As a matter of fact many injuries happened from people’s knives folding up on them while they were bearing down on the knife. The Buck 110 was indeed the first knife that locked up tight. It’s no wonder that 15 million of them have been sold and the Buck 110 continues to be a favorite 50 years later.
