Browning Black Label Trip Wire Knife 320140BL Review
So we’re sitting at our photo station the other day taking pictures of knives that need pictures taken of them. Most days like this consist of a handful of good looking knives that are well worth offering on Hand-Tools.com. But then something happened that only happens once in a while, when we run across a knife that is so t-totally cool and over the top that we just have to stop and take a hard look at it.
The knife that had this effect on us today is the Browning 320140B Black Label Trip Wire Knife, as shown here:
At first the trip wire knife looked like many other cool fixed blade tactical knives that we’ve held, but this knife does so much more. The handle actually unhinges and becomes a heavy duty pair of shears. So heavy duty in fact that this knife is capable of cutting barbed wire and concertina wire, which I’m sure is a contributing factor as to why Browning decided to name this knife the “Trip Wire”.
Browning Trip Wire made of high quality materials
Aside from its high functionality, the Browning Trip Wire is also made from a host of fine quality craftsmanship and materials. Here is a list of highlights that we found:
- blade material of N690Co stainless steel
- full tang with 1/4 inch thickness all the way to the glass breaker on the end
- aggressive serration for quick ripping
- two beefy G10 overlays
Here is the video that we shot for the Browning Trip Wire:
