Marttiini knivesWelcome to our fine selection of Marttiini knives. Marttiini have been known as the sharpest cut since 1928. They manufacture their knives in Rovaniemi in Finland and have been doing so ever since Janne Marttiini founded the company. They deal with knives for fishing, hunting, camping, collectors, household and for professional use. They stamp knives with a unique design(depending on the collection or line of knives) on the butt pommel so you instantly know what it is. Janne was originally a Blacksmith in a small country village known as Kierinki I northern Finland in 1902 and he made axes, tools and scythes as well as knives. In 1940 the move to a purpose built factory became necessary to support the demand for his products. Marttiinis Old Factory still stands today. They make more than 300 different kinds of knives and are able to produce as many as 5000 knives a day. It,s time to experience the Marttiini touch. | |||
