The Columbia River Ken Onion EROS knife K455TXP is an excellent folding knife to have with you for those unexpected emergencies that sometimes occur. It comes with a 3” drop point blade made from Acuto stainless steel, and benefits from a Rockwell hardness of 59-60.
The ambidextrous flipper not only allows you to open it with one hand, it can also be used whether you are left or right hand. Never again will you find yourself in a situation where you are left struggling to gain access to your knife.
The handle is made from 6AL4V titanium which makes the feel of this knife featherweight. This makes it much easier for you if you like to carry it with you all the time, as it will not weigh you down. The frame is CNC machined to give you a secure and firm grip at all times. This gives you the confidence to work with the knife even in wet or slippery conditions, without you having to fear that you will lose control. The knife also has the IKBS ball bearing pivot system with low initial friction that allows you to open the blade much easier and quicker. This also is ideal as it means it requires little maintenance.
