Here is yet another example of a fine Boker Trapperliner knife – this is the 114711, sometimes known simply as the 4711.
It sports an overall length of 4 1/8th inch long (when closed) and a blade measuring 3.75 inches in length.
It's ideal for pocket carrying and fits the majority of palms comfortably and snugly.
The handle is a fine Red smooth bone handle, with a company shield impressed upon it, and complemented with polished pins and Bolsters for a superior finish and appearance.
It feels good to hold and well balanced.
The blade has a very useful thumb stud in it's upper edge for easy one handed opening – just a simple flick with your thumb is all that's required – and it locks with the liner locking mechanism.
Solingen stainless steel is used for the blade, meaning you will enjoy countless slices and cuts with it before it ever needs re-sharpening.
